CONSTRUCTION STAGING REQUESTS
The Denver West Architectural Control Committee (DWACC) must review and approve all construction trailers, storage containers, temporary dumpsters, portable toilets and construction fencing prior to permit application at the City of Lakewood and installation on site.

Required Review Fee
- $500
- To be paid via check made payable to the Denver West ACC, and sent to 14143 Denver West Parkway, Suite 100, Golden, Colorado 80401.
- Please include the tenant name on the review fee check, and ensure the check is delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to the DWACC.
- We do not accept credit cards.
Information Requirements
Please prepare a PDF request that includes the following items:
- Cover letter requesting review and approval
- Please ensure that this letter includes all pertinent contact information.
- Provide the estimated start and end dates for the proposed staging area and construction work.
- Add the following language to the cover letter: "We understand it is our responsibility to obtain any and all required permits and/or approvals required by the appropriate fire and police departments for this location, as well as any required by the City of Lakewood.”
- Site plan drawing or aerial photo showing the locations and dimensions of all trailers, storage containers, dumpsters, fencing, portable toilets and signage to be located on site, even if they will be within a fenced area.
- Color photo or specification sheet for fencing. The DWACC requires six-foot chain link fencing with green screening fabric.
- Lighting plan and specifications if overnight lighting is not available onsite.

- Please submit a color image or photo of each sign, along with its proposed location, dimensions and installation method.
- Please be advised that the DWACC permits one 40-square-foot "Coming Soon" project banner, with tenant name and/or logo, to be installed on the construction fence, but this banner must be submitted and approved as part of a Construction Staging Request prior to installation.
- Signage advertising contractors or sub-contractors is not permitted.
- The company providing the temporary construction fencing may install one (1) small identification placard per side of the enclosure, not per fence panel.
Formatting Requirements
- Format your request as a single PDF document, with multiple pages if needed. Please include the cover letter as the first page in the file.
- Format your request to be printed at ledger/tabloid size (11" x 17").
- Include "Page X of Y" numbers in the lower right corner of each page in the request.
- Place the DWACC approval block in the upper or lower right-hand corner of each page in your request. Please do not cover any information or images. The block should measure 3" x 4" when printed.
IMPORTANT

- Businesses with landlords must first submit their requests for landlord approval. If approved, the landlord will need to subsequently submit the request to the DWACC on behalf of the business. Businesses without landlords email the request directly to the DWACC Coordinator.
- Installation of trailers, storage containers, dumpsters or fencing is illegal without prior written DWACC approval and appropriate City of Lakewood permits. Permits are not obtainable without written DWACC approval.
- No advertising signage is allowed on trailers, storage containers, dumpsters, fencing or onsite.
- Fence companies are allowed one identification placard per side of the fence enclosure, not per fence panel.
