TENANT GUIDELINES
Unapproved items and events constitute a violation of City of Lakewood zoning laws, and may result in citations and fines. Please contact the Committee Coordinator with any further questions.

- Tenants may not make any exterior changes to the building, landscaping or site without prior written DWACC approval. All exterior modifications must be reviewed and approved by the DWACC in writing prior to the start of the work. Review submission requirements for Exterior Modification Requests.
- Tenants may not install any temporary or permanent signage on the building, in the storefront, outside of the building or inside the space within 24 inches of exterior glass windows or doors without prior written DWACC approval. This includes wall signs, directional signs, to-go signage, banners, door/window decals, advertising signs, and menus. All signage, including interior signage to be located within 24” of glass windows or doors, must be reviewed and approved by the DWACC in writing prior to installation. - Tenants may not install any atellite dishes, antennae, or other communication or mechanical equipment without prior written DWACC approval.
- Anything inside the space that is located within 24 inches of exterior glass doors or windows falls under the jurisdiction of the DWACC and must be submitted for review and approval prior to installation. This includes signage, light fixtures, merchandise and displays. You may install or display items more than 24 inches back from glass doors or windows without prior written DWACC approval.
- All dumpster lids and service area gates are to remain closed at all times. Service areas are to remain reasonably clean and free of debris.
- Outdoor events are allowed provided that an Outdoor Event Request been submitted to and approved by the DWACC at least thirty (30) days in advance. Amplified noise must be kept to a reasonable volume to avoid disturbing nearby neighborhoods. The DWACC reserves the right to close down unapproved events or aspects of events. - Tenants may install one (1) hiring sign in their storefront, not to exceed three feet in either height or width, at any time and for any duration without prior written DWACC approval. This sign must be professionally produced; no hand-lettered signs are allowed. No hiring signs may be installed outside of the leased space, on the building, as staked ground signs or banners, or offsite.
- Certain items are not allowed in the Denver West area. The DWACC will not review or consider requests for exterior storage, outdoor display, sales events, beacons, spotlights or other unauthorized lights, balloons and inflatables, lines of pennant flags, A-frame signs or hand-lettered signs. Please be advised that tenants may never park vehicles on sidewalks for any purpose, including outdoor events.
